Cosplay Contest Guidelines

We will be having a Masquerade-style Cosplay Contest. This means that all cosplay, store bought or hand crafted are eligible to compete for prizes. The Waifu Party Cosplay Contest is meant to be for fun and the fans! Above all else, we encourage friendly competition and good sportsmanship.

policy on props

There will be no props allowed. For the safety of our attendees and in the consideration of the venue’s regular customers, no props will be allowed into the venue and you will be asked by security to return them to your vehicles

Why no props?

Waifu Party has various venues that it chooses to host its events at, and each venue comes with its own set of rules. For the overall safety of everyone in general, we have decided that safety outweighs the inconvenience this may cause. We apologize for any misunderstandings.

Inclusive Meritocracy and Zero Tolerance Policies

The team at Waifu Party operates under the spirit of "Inclusive Meritocracy” and follows an “Everyone is Welcome” policy. However, images or cosplays expressing extreme views that do not align with these values are not permitted into the Waifu Social. There will be Zero Tolerance for any harassment, racism, discrimination, or otherwise. Security will be on site and ready to enforce our Zero Tolerance policy for any violations brought to staff attention.
